The 5 liter system is approved for use in SCCA, PRO-SCCA, Trans Am, World Speed Challenge, American LeMans, NASA, and others. This is a 4 nozzle, 3 zone system utilizing the newest T-style nozzle, bulkhead fitting, 20 ft of aluminum tubing as well as the standard features found on the 2.3 liter system. The aluminum cylinder and hardware keep weight to a minimum. The stainless steel t-bolt mounting brackets allow easy access for tech inspection and storage during the off season.

This system is available as an owner rechargeable system and as a SFI 17.1 compliant system ($10.00 certifcation fee). The SFI system requires that the systems be shipped full, sealed, and certified for 2 years of service.

The 5 liter system provides up to three zones of coverage - driver, engine, and fuel cell, producing approximately 30 liters of foam when activated. Foam cleans up easily with water. Non-SFI compliant systems can be recharged at the track with a recharge kit and fresh water. The SFI 17.1 compliant version requires that the system be shipped back for recertification. VRO offers a re-certification program for the SFI systems.
